Lauren Cohan

Lauren Cohan (born January 7, 1982) is an American-born English actress,〔(【引用サイトリンク】The New York Times">title=Lauren Cohan )〕 best known for her role as Maggie Greene on ''The Walking Dead'' and recurring roles on ''The Vampire Diaries'', ''Supernatural'', and ''Chuck''.
==Early life==
Cohan was born on January 7, 1982 to an American father and a British mother, and has Scottish, Irish, and Norwegian ancestry.〔http://www.news.com.au/national/jersey-girl-with-a-killer-instinct/story-e6frfkp9-1226823512488〕 Sources have listed Cohan's birthplace as Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,〔 but Cohan has stated in interviews that she was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
During her childhood, Cohan lived in Cherry Hill, New Jersey—and, for one year, Georgia—before moving to the United Kingdom at age 13. The family settled in Surrey. When Cohan's mother remarried, she adopted her new husband's surname, Cohan, and converted to Judaism. Cohan converted to her stepfather's religion, Judaism, at age five and had a Bat Mitzvah. She has five younger siblings, including a stepsister.〔(Q&A – Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene) – The Walking Dead – AMC )〕 Cohan graduated from the University of Winchester〔http://www.winchester.ac.uk/alumni/services/venta/Documents/Venta%2025%20WEB.pdf〕 with a BA degree in Drama and English Literature, before touring with a theatre company she had co-founded at the university. Cohan then split her time and work between London and Los Angeles, California, working on several films as well as some non-commercial projects.
Cohan is the subject of novelist Jacob M. Appel's essay, "She Loves Me Not", in his collection ''Phoning Home''.〔Nonfiction Journal, August 2014, Page 15〕〔Scarsdale News, October 17, 2014, Pp. 3–4〕
